How to stop spiders biting you

A study published in the journal PLoS ONE shows that a simple chemical that has been used to treat spider bites for decades is effective at preventing spider bites.

The study, led by the Department of Pathology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York, shows that, for the first time, a simple, inexpensive, and nontoxic chemical known as neosporin can be used to prevent spider bites, a critical step in reducing the risk of these serious but often fatal infections.

“We have shown that, unlike most conventional drugs, neospecins are nontoxic, and work well for people with spider bites,” said study co-author and associate professor of medicine and pathology at the URM Medical Center, James F. Tipton.

“We found that this drug was safe and effective for people who are bitten by spiders, as well as for people not bitten by a spider.

We have also shown that these drugs are safe for animals and that they do not cause toxicity to humans.”

While there are currently more than 4,000 spider bites reported each year in the United States, fewer than one in every 100,000 is a spider bite.

The reason that many people are bitten is because they are not paying attention, are not wearing appropriate protective gear, or are unable to take appropriate precautions such as washing hands, clothing, and surfaces when handling spiders.

“If we don’t have a good system to protect people from spiders, we will see more and more bites, and people will be at greater risk,” Tiptons co-lead author, Dr. David W. Stearns, said.

“There are two main reasons people are getting bitten.

The first is people are being bitten when they are too close to a spider or not paying close attention to the spider and getting bitten when the spider is not on them.

If you don’t take precautions, you will have a more dangerous bite.

The other reason is when a spider is in a web.

You can’t just walk over a web and it is safe.

That’s why we need a new spider control system.”

While the research shows that neospermin is a promising drug, the drug has not been approved for human use, and it may take years to develop.

In the meantime, the study authors recommend that people avoid contact with spiders and wear clothing that has enough protection against spiders, and wear gloves.
