Pokemon Go users have more than doubled their traffic to Nintendo, a study finds
The first-person-shooter video game Pokémon Go has more than tripled its users’ traffic to a company called Nintendo in the past week, according to a new study.
In the past 24 hours, Pokémon Go users on both iOS and Android have increased their traffic from $4.2 million to $14.1 million, according the study by The Weather Channel.
That figure is up from $5.6 million in the same period last year.
Pokemon Go has also overtaken Minecraft to become the No. 1 most popular video game on Google Play.
