What is a curse image?

The Hindu is reporting that there are two kinds of images that can be cursed: ones that cause people to lose their jobs and ones that create a negative image of a religion.

According to the report, a group of five men decided to try and stop a Hindu temple from using the name ‘Curse’ and instead put up a sign saying ‘Praying Hands’ which is an image of hands that are cursed with the image of an angry person.

The sign was put up in front of the temple in the city of Vadodara, which is about 60km from Madhya Pradesh capital, New Delhi.

The group behind the temple, known as Vadodikshan Samiti, told The Hindu that it was not a religious issue and had nothing to do with religion.

They were just trying to stop them from using ‘C’ in front and they have the right to do that, the group said.

The temple is one of the largest in the state and is located in the Jumla district.

The state’s Supreme Court recently banned ‘C’, ‘V’, ‘I’ and ‘R’ from being used in any religious signs.

Vadodiyshan Samti, however, told India Today it was in defence of ‘C’.

“C’ was given to us by Lord Shiva and he wanted to curse people,” the group told India.

“There was a lot of controversy in India about ‘C,’ and we wanted to avoid that.”

The group also said it did not intend to cause any trouble or harm to anyone, but only to stop the temple from being run by a religious organisation.
